Here's a extra page since i had all sunday to draw!
This page kind of sucked to do, since i hate to draw this friendship breaking up and the fact i've grown to like Karen a bit since she's always so brutally honest. And I can see it from her side, when her friend of years stops going to her and starts hanging out with other people instead (why cant we all just get along :( )
Even if she's a bit of a narrow minded bitch, she has some valid points regarding Havens also a bit narrow-minded view on her friends. But she has the heart in the right place. :)

Did some binge-reading and I think I'm finally caught up. Damn, what a ride! I'm very impressed with you work, Linn.

@kidcthulhu: thank you alot, i'm glad you like it :D its weird how when you create a comic story and it grows you realize....oh shit its 100 pages. You end up stop counting eventually. But when there's a new comic you count EVERY. DAMN. PAGE. EVER. DONE. Until you hit 50 and lose count again :p haha.

@Linn: I know what you mean; I'm inking my 176th page tonight.

Before Tangentville, my longest running comic was 36 pages and at the time that somehow felt like an accomplishment.

@kidcthulhu: Hahaha, i know right!
Your comic has grown pretty big too, but it means its getting somewhere which is a great accomplishment itself. :-)
It means you enjoy it, which is a great advance. Alot of people draw comics then end up falling out because they come to the point where they realize they didnt draw it for the right reasons. Or the story was flawed. The story writes itself along the way, but its just the matter of sticking with it. Its impossible to plan step by step of a comic, at least as i've learnt by doing mine, which was the mistake i kept doing over and over in my old comics. You get new ideas that doesnt work with the old and you start from scratch.
A self-writing comic is why its so much fun since you always get new ideas as you go :) which is also alot of what keeps it alive, in my opinion!

@Linn: Thanks for your praise. I'm still amazed I've been able to keep with it. Granted, mine's a glorified comic-strip compared to a lot of my fellow Jeeves Smackers.

I'm not sure how far you've read in mine, but I actually went out of my way to avoid doing linear story arcs for fear of writing & drawing myself into a corner. So yes, everything builds and the pages are consecutive, but there hasn't been any discernible "chapters". I've only just now allowed myself to do the occasional week-long story arc.

But yes, the story does have a way of writing itself. Many characters I thought were throwaway one-shot gags have actual depth now as I keep finding new ways to integrate them into the milieu.

I love how the conversation between the two girls deteriorates into anger, lovely work. I also really like that first panel, it's gorgeous and paints such a serene setting for the ensuing squabble. :)

@skyangel: Makes one wonder what they spoke about before bringing this up in the first place. Karen probably werent in a good mood in the first place, but then again who knows.
She seems like the kind of person who comes off negative nomatter what she says, but doesn't really notice it. So everything feels like an arguement but they just dont get that you're annoyed or hurt by it. Since its how they are.... Haven does good in cutting her out.

I mean I don't like how Kareen tre rd there friend. But she dose have a very good point about how our main charictor gose about trans people . With calling Sophie she when they have said that they are a he .but will call there drag friend she until it doesn't sute her.

@TheLezbian monkey: Aye, Haven is definetly not being the innocent one in this for sure! She's a character full of flaws and hypocrissy at worst! She's not intentionally cruel though. At the start it can be a few confusions and misprounounces at hand, but after a while if the person still dont care to correct it they're just imbeciles.
